Kelley Walker

Kelley Walker was born in 1969 in Columbus, Georgia, and lives and works in New York City. He earned a BFA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 1995, and an MFA from the University of Arizona in 1998. Multiple other people share his name, and their biographical records are unrelated to the artist.

Walker emerged in the early 2000s reworking appropriation strategies for the digital era, mining mass-media imagery, advertising, and consumer packaging and reprocessing it through screen printing, digital manipulation, and collage.
