Michael Craig-Martin

Michael Craig-Martin was born in Dublin, Ireland, on 28 August 1941. He attended Fordham University in New York to study English literature and history before turning to art, then enrolled at Yale University's School of Art and Architecture, where he earned a BA in 1963 and an MFA in 1966. That year he moved to London, which has remained his base ever since.
