Roberto Fabelo

Jose Roberto Fabelo Perez was born on January 28, 1950, in Guaimaro, Camaguey, Cuba. He trained formally at Cuba's National School of Art (Escuela Nacional de Arte) in Havana from 1967 to 1972, graduating in 1972, and went on to advanced study at the Higher Institute of Art (Instituto Superior de Arte) in Havana, completing his degree in 1981. He later taught at the Instituto Superior de Arte.
