Ross Bleckner

Ross Bleckner was born on May 12, 1949, in New York City and grew up in Hewlett Harbor, New York. He earned a BA in fine art from New York University in 1971, where he studied alongside Sol LeWitt and Chuck Close, and an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts in 1973, where he became friends with David Salle.
