Yasuyuki Nishio

Nishio was born in 1967 in Tokyo. He studied at Musashino Art University, graduating from the Department of Sculpture in 1991. Early recognition followed quickly: he received the Kirin Art Award in 1990, and in 1993 held his first documented solo exhibition, Internal Organs, at Gallery Q in Tokyo.
