Zheng Lu

Zheng Lu was born in 1978 in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, China. He trained at the Lu Xun Fine Arts Academy in Shenyang, completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in sculpture in 2003, and went on to the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in Beijing, where he earned a Master of Fine Arts in sculpture in 2007. While still a student, he won an LVMH Young Artists' Award, which funded a short advanced-study program at the Ecole nationale superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, generally dated to 2005.
